I've been contemplating this for a while and desperately want to try it. I used to stick to boring neutral lip colours & glosses, but I'm slowly becoming more open to experimentation with lip colour & have a growing obsession with dark lips. As you can see in my previous posts I've been sporting the red for the last 2 weeks, makes me look EXTRA oriental haha. I like it. I think instead of pure black though I'll lean more toward the Chanel colour (first pic). To pull such strong lips off and look sleek & chic instead of gothic you should definitely go as bare as possible with the rest of your makeup.
Yep. I'm off to town tomorrow to pick up some colour.

I wore black lipstick for a photoshoot once. I really liked it. I'm not sure if I would wear it beyond that, but I'm open to all things beauty!
