KAMARA HARDING

I am a woman who has lived. I have plenty to hide.

FRAMED

So the shoot for the optical frames was yesterday. It actually went very quickly, we weren't there for more than 4 hours, including hair & makeup changes as well as outfit changes.

If you live in Russia...(Moscow I think) look out for me in optical stores in the next month or two! haha. Quick preview:

Tonight we're attending a wine tasting & dinner for some new wine company. Any excuse to get dressed up, really.

I GUESS IT'S JUST A FEELING

So I'm feeling slightly feverish today & have decided to take the day off from running around the city & bum around in bed in my PJs all day. Because I can. Yesterday I was apparantly in a very grey mood judging by my outfit choice (which I didn't even notice until I was in the car). The only thing I don't like about winter is the limitations on clothing! I hate having to wrap up all the time. Anyway, I said I'd post some photos of my new purchases so might as well. I've also been blessed with a puffy jacket, two leather jackets and some new skinny jeans (none of which I have photos of yet) thanks to my amazing mother :) You can never be too old to appreciate when your parents buy you nice clothes.

SHOES

So I was at the office yesterday (basically waiting around cause I was having dinner with the fam) and spent a good couple of hours on The Fashion Spot forums. I want alllll these shoes. Nothing too new but doesn't make them any less delicious!

AVATAR

Call me a geek, but I really want to bum around on my beanbag and watch this movie (now!). Though I doubt the HQ DVD will be out in China for another week. Ughhh! James Cameron is a 3D/animation genius, I studied him (although only on a very superficial level) when I was doing multimedia tech at uni & I can't wait to see his latest masterpiece. I hear that with production costs of up to 300 million pounds, this movie has topped the list of the most expensive movies ever made.

If you have no idea what it's about: 10 things you need to know about Avatar before watching.

Plus, there's something about Sam Worthington. Mmmm, hunky.

HOME SWEET HOME

Couldn't be happier to be home. My flight(s) to Shanghai were not the best I've ever had; the first one was only 3 hours to Finland where we then had a 5 1/2 hr layover...most of which I spent spread out over 2 seats sleeping, & the rest reading "The Suicide Club" (one of the most unsettling books I've read in a while; thanks for the gruesome details there, Rhys Thomas).

Anyhoo, then the SECOND 9 hr flight...there were 3 teenage girls to my left giggling and screaming the entire way despite numerous "SHHHH"s from surrounding passengers, the guy to my front who kept adjusting his seat awkwardly, then the guy behind me who didn't seem to realize that someone was occupying the seat in front of him & kept using my chair as leverage to hoist himself up. Good times!

But whatever, I'm just glad to be home. Went to check out this awesome winter clothing shop, amazing coats, bought a couple. Will upload photos later. We went for dinner at the Sofitel hotel near our place, it's beauuutiful at night, all lit up. Looks like a palace. Too bad nobody goes there - ridiculous.
